Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Conector Stripe to InvoiceXpress by Betacode («Service»), provided by Betacode («we») at stripe-ix.betacode.tech and via the Stripe Marketplace. By installing or using the Service, you accept these Terms.
1. Service description
The Service is a connector that lets you review, sync and issue Portuguese tax documents in InvoiceXpress from the merchant’s Stripe billing data. It includes the Stripe App (Dashboard UI Extension), the web application and API components needed for authentication, sync, Service billing and support.
2. Eligibility and account
The Service is intended for merchants with a Stripe account and InvoiceXpress access. You are responsible for:
- keeping credentials, tokens and permissions valid on connected platforms;
- ensuring anyone accessing the install is authorized by the organization;
- complying with tax, accounting and data-protection law applicable to your activity.
3. Plans, trial and payment
We may offer a trial period (for example a limited number of InvoiceXpress invoices) and paid subscription plans. Prices, billing cycles and commercial terms are those shown in the app or Stripe Checkout. Service subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Non-payment may result in suspension or limitation of the Service.
4. Third-party integrations
The Service depends on Stripe and InvoiceXpress. Use of those platforms is subject to their terms and policies. We do not control their availability, APIs or changes. Outages, rate limits or API changes by those providers may affect the Service without constituting our breach, except where otherwise required by law.
5. User responsibilities
You agree to:
- review customer and invoice data before issuing tax documents;
- use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with Stripe and InvoiceXpress rules;
- not attempt to bypass security limits, quotas or authentication;
- not use the Service in a way that harms infrastructure or other customers.
Documents issued in InvoiceXpress are your responsibility as issuer. The Service is an integration tool and does not replace tax or accounting advice.
6. Intellectual property
Software, brands, design and content of the Service belong to Betacode or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms. Reverse engineering, copying or unauthorized redistribution is not allowed except as permitted by law.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected on this page (update date at the top).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Betacode is not liable for: (a) indirect loss, lost profits or consequential damages; (b) errors in data from Stripe or InvoiceXpress; (c) incorrect tax documents from incomplete data or lack of user review; (d) third-party unavailability. Aggregate liability related to the Service, where applicable, is limited to amounts paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time (including uninstalling the Stripe App and cancelling the subscription). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, security risk, non-payment or legal obligation. After termination, access ceases; provisions that by nature should survive remain in force.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply. Without prejudice to mandatory venue, the parties submit to the competent courts in Portugal.
10. Privacy
Processing of personal and account data is described in the Privacy Policy. Privacy.
